Order
breakfast early so you can head to the Black River area for beautiful
scenery and recreation. We can arrange a float trip for you. You can
drive yourself, or use our shuttle service, and within minutes be in
the water. First, stop off at Peola
Valley Pottery for a few quick tips from the artist himself. Continue
to the river for a day of canoeing, rafting, playing and swimming. The
river is a pleasure for veteran and novice floaters alike, offering
an ever changing outdoor experience spring through fall. The river is
clear and beautiful as it gently moves through dense wooded forests
and green meadows winding past tall cliff walls dotted with caves and
fern greenery. Be prepared with dry clothes for after your float, because
on a weekend you can stick around for an awesome music show under the
stars at Bearcat
Getaway's outdoor amphitheater. A weekend summertime float package
with a BBQ dinner can be arranged as well. After the show we’ll
pick you up and bring you home.
