Nostalgic Place Bed & Breakfast accommodations are reminiscent of a French Country Estate. Simple, yet elegant vintage style furnishings adorn each suite.  Satellite television and wireless internet access are included free of charge.   Nostalgic Place also provides each guest with a cozy, luxuriously comfortable robe.  When you awaken, you will be greeted by the aroma of a large gourmet breakfast.  Stroll our beautiful grounds and visit our Spring House. After returning from a day of exploring our beautiful area, you might want to treat yourself to a massage before plunging into our outdoor hot tub to gaze at the amazing starlit sky only Arcadia Valley can offer.  We regret, due to our historic structure, we are not wheelchair accessible. All of our guests are welcome to relax in our large gathering room to read, play games, or watch our large screen television.  There are always plenty of refreshments and snacks available. With advance notice, we will prepare the perfect custom weekend package for you.  These packages might include massage and spa treatments, carriage rides, floral delivery, romantic dinners and special picnic baskets to take with you as you explore Missouri's natural wonders.  Let your imagination dictate your requests.  We will do everything within our power to accommodate you on your special dream vacation getaway.  We regret, due to our historic structure, we are not wheelchair accessible. The St. Francois Suite is elegantly adorned by a large, wooden canopy bed and luxurious whirlpool tub.  The adjoining room is furnished with a comfortable oversized fold-out sofa and chair.  Additionally, there is a dining table for two for that romantic candle-lit dinner that you may wish to request.  Breakfast may be served in your suite by request.  Dinner & breakfast served in suite are only available if you choose the St. Francois Suite.

A stately comforable queen sized bed awaits you in the Ursuline Suite.  We proudly furnished this suite with pieces of original furniture from the historic Ursuline Academy.  Soaking in the deep, claw-footed tub in this room will provide for a renewal of your senses.

Reservations, Deposits, Cancellations & Policies We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Personal Checks, Travelers Checks, Money Orders & Cash Reservations: Please note: We have a minimum stay requirement on holidays, festivals or for special events. (Please call for further information) Nostalgic Place requires full payment for your room and selected guest services at the time of your reservation. If not paid by credit card, your check, money order or traveler’s check will be due us within 5 days of your reservation or we will be unable to hold the reservation for you. If your reservation or deposit is paid with a credit card, please bring the actual card with you to Nostalgic Place. This is needed for proper processing & identification. Cancellations: October (full month), Holiday, Festival or Special Event Reservations In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, we must be notified at least 20 days prior to your scheduled reservation. Weekend Reservations (Friday or Saturday) In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, we must be notified at least 14 days prior to your scheduled weekend reservation. Weeknight Reservations (Sunday through Thursday) In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, we must be notified at least 5 days prior to your scheduled reservation. As a small Inn, we ask for your understanding of our need to receive ample notice of cancellations. If notification is not made by the required time, we will be unable to provide a refund of your room deposit unless we are able to rebook your room. Any payment for special services paid for in advance is non-refundable. If we are able to rebook your room, we will gladly refund your room deposit less a $25.00 service charge. Additionally, if there are extenuating circumstances due to hospitalization or illness, please provide proof and we will refund your deposit, less the $25.00 service fee. We sincerely appreciate your patronage. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding our cancellation policies. Nostalgic Place Policies ~ We love children, however we must also respect the rights of our guests to have a quiet weekend break from their own children. For this reason we do not allow children under the age of 18. ~ Consumption of alcohol is permitted (you are welcome to bring your own). ~ Smoking is permitted only in our designated outdoor area. Please ask. ~ We also love pets, however, in consideration of our guests with allergies to pet dander, we do not allow pets.
